Robert Carl Bartley
Robert Carl Bartley, 53, of Akron, passed away after a long courageous battle with cancer on January 26, 2012. He was born in Akron on April 22, 1958 to the late Robert and Betty Bartley. He was a truck driver for Ashland Chemical for over twenty years. In his free time, Bob enjoyed traveling with his wife, woodworking, and spending time with his grandchildren. Bob will be deeply missed by his loving wife of eleven years, Maureen; son, Ryan (Jill) Bartley; daughter, Samantha Bartley; sisters, Cheryl Seymour, Debbie Miller, Pam (Chuck) Jones, Cindy Bartley (Bruce); grandchildren, Edward and Emily Bartley; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He will also be greatly missed by his faithful companions, Measha Thi and Gabriella. Visitation will be Sunday January 29 from 2-5 followed by a 5:00 p.m. funeral service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Summa Akron City Oncology Department, 525 E. Market St., Akron, OH 44304.
