Robert Allen Carver

Robert Allen Carver, 63, of South Canton, went home to be with the Lord on August 31, 2018. He was born on September 1, 1954 to the late George and Frances Carver. He was a graduate of Garfield High School, class of 72. Bob was an avid bowler and Steelers Fan. He also enjoyed shooting pool with his father in-law. Spending time with his family was his true passion. His devotion and love to his wife was most extraordinary. Bob was no stranger to hard work and had a huge heart for his friends and neighbors.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his father and mother in-law, Richard and Mary Lamtman; brother and sister in-law, David and Charlotte Lamtman; and his beloved dogs, Buddy and Buffy. Bob leaves to cherish his memory, loving wife of 22 years, Tammy; children, Jason (Melissa) Wisener, Brittany (Drew) Marchand, Adam (Ashlie) Carver, John Wisener Jr., and Mike Carver; loving grandchildren, Laila, Jase, Madisyn, Elliana, Kolton, Keegan, Tyler, Paige, Devin, and Mason; sister, Judy (John) King; sisters in-law and brothers in-law, Pollyann (Mark) Rhoades, Heidi Lamtman, Jessica Lamtman, Jess Lamtman, and Richard (Terri) Lamtman Jr; and several loving nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Friday September 7, 2018 from 11-1pm with the funeral service immediately following at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305. Interment Hillside Memorial Park.
