Robert Harry Congrove

Robert Harry Congrove "Apple", 85, of Mogadore, passed away on January 5, 2023 at his home. He was born in East Springfield on February 26, 1937 to the late Marshall and Elsie {Ochsendorf} Congrove.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his spouse Lyndsey {Rush} Congrove, son Robert H. Congrove Jr., best friend and brother Bowie Congrove, sisters Carol Pinney and Joyce Coble.
Bob is survived by his children Laura, Bill and Doug Congrove; step-son Tim Smith; sister, Ruth Congrove; many grandkids, nieces and nephews; many good friends; dog Daisy.
Bob worked as a heavy equipment operator, and eventually owned Congrove Trenching & Grading with his brother Bowie. He was a likeable guy, and seemingly made friends wherever he went.
A mausoleum chapel committal service will be held at Hillside Memorial Park, 1025 Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44312 on Saturday, January 14 at 10:00 a.m. To leave a message for Bob's family, please scroll below.
