Robert D. Coble, 71, of Akron, died on March 27, 2006 at his residence. He was born May 25, 1934 in Akron, Ohio to the late William & Bertha (Vinson) Coble. Robert loved traveling, fishing and drag racing but especially loved his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Coble. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Kay Coble; step-daughter, Lori (Allan) Hall of Atlanta GA; step-son, Bruce (Alison) Anderson of Atlanta GA; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brothers, Dwight (Joyce), Duane, and William (Karin) Coble all of Akron; many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 - 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. where funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jerrell Beaty officiating.
