Bob was born on December 19, 1957, passed away October 31, 2008. He was raised in Norton, Ohio and worked as an Operating Engineer for Local #18. He loved to watch the Browns and NASCAR. He is survived by his wife, the love of his life, Joeleen; sons, Stephen Smith, Jason and Jeremiah Stalnaker; mother, Donna; sisters, Linda Morris and Marilyn Mattes; brothers, Jeff (Gay), Don and William; grandsons, Jeremiah and Chase; his beagle, Buddy; and many relatives and friends. Bob was preceded in death by his father Richard and sister Nancy. Calling hours at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, Ohio, will be Wednesday, November 5, 2008 from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be at the funeral home Thursday, November 6, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. followed by internment at Greenlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations maybe made to the family.
