Robert E. Doolittle, 69, of Akron, passed away April 8, 2009. Robert was born in Fairmont, West Virginia on June 29, 1939. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida K. and daughter, Carol Doolittle. He is survived by his sons, Ray (Tammy), Robert (Penny), and Paul (Stephanie); and grandchildren, Heather, Elizabeth, Raymond II, Paul, Kristian, and Becky. Cremation has taken place. An informal gathering will be held Saturday from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Per, Robert's wishes, please send no flowers.
