Robert E. Green, 49, of Akron, passed away July 1, 2008 due to complications from diabetes. Robert was born January 1, 1959 to the late Donald and Mary Green. He had many talents and interests, including gardening, music, working on cars, and electronics. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald and niece, Holly. He is survived by his sisters, Barbara (Minter) Miller, Margaret Green, and Bonnie (Randy) DelMonte; brother, John Green; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 2-6 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to DSI Summit Renal Care, 73 Massillon Rd, Akron 44312.
