Robert E. Mcabee

Robert E. McAbee, 79, passed away on December 20, 2010. Robert served with the US Marines during the Korean Conflict. He was a lifelong member of the American Legion and the VFW. He leaves behind to mourn him, the mother of his children, Evelyn; sons, Robert, Jr. (Sherri), Steven, Gregory (Julie); daughters, Deborah (Thomas) McDowell, Donna (Frank) Palcko, Pamela (Timothy) Teague; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Edith Miller; brothers, Frederick (Edna) and Harold. Special thanks to the staff at Meadowview Care Center and Medina Hospice. Calling hours will be Sunday, 2-6 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Graveside service will be held Monday, 11:30 a.m.at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
