Robert ( Bobby) Eugene Barnes, Sr., 60, of Akron, passed away December 24, 2006 at his residence. He was born May 28, 1946 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Cornelius W. & Katie (Davis) Barnes. He enjoyed life to the fullest. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Cornelius W. Barnes, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Leanna Niles; daughter, Rojan E. Barnes; son, Robert E. Barnes, Jr.; sister, Marva J. Barnes; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Calling hours will be Sunday from 12 - 2 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd.
