Robert Eugene Johnson

Robert Eugene Johnson, 64, of Akron, passed away on December 4, 2024. He was born in Ventura, CA on June 4, 1960 to the late Julius and Sherry {Griffith} Johnson. 

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his father-in-law Larry Tharp, mother-in-law Arizona Elliot and beloved aunt Elaine Hickle.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Reva; daughter, Katelyn (Todd Fields) Johnson; sons, Jared Johnson and Dennis (Amber) Vasko; brothers, Scott (Karen) and Tom (Lisa) Johnson and sisters in law, Tammy (Chris) Miller, Tina (ken) Carrigo and their families; and grandchildren, Mary and Dennis III. 

Bob worked for Graphic Packaging for 33 years. He loved to roller skate, sand volleyball and play pool. Bob enjoyed the outdoors, especially taking care of his yard and bird watching. He enjoyed finding good deals at thrift stores and flea markets. Bob's cars were always cleaned and well cared for, and he enjoyed attending car shows as well. 

Bob's kids were his pride and joy. He loved his role as a dad, and had a heart big enough to care for anyone that needed a friend.
