Robert Keith Friend, age 51, died October 1, 2019, in Akron General Hospital from injuries received in a traffic accident.
He was born in Akron on April 21, 1968 to Denver Paul and Arbutus McGlaughlin Friend. He graduated from Springfield High School.
He is survived by a daughter, Angel Friend of Akron.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 older brothers, Dean, Duane, and Jerry, and a nephew, Kevin.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305.
Interment will take place alongside Keith's family members in Moore Cemetery, Wallback, WV. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
