Robert Gilley, 53, passed away unexpectedly June 3, 2019. Born in Akron, Ohio to Robert and Effie (Clay) Gilley, he was a lifelong resident of the Akron/Canton area. Bob enjoyed all kinds of music, watching NFL football, specifically the Patriots and entertaining his family. He was great at telling stories and making everyone laugh.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Steven. He will be remembered by wife of 13 years, Eva; daughter, Erica (Douglas II) Branch; son, Travis (Saige) Gilley; step-sons, Eddie (Jaime), Jason (Rachel); 9 grandchildren; brother, Lawrence; sister, Gina; former spouse, Maria; longtime friend, Rob; other family and friends.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A private memorial service will be held by the family.
