Robert G. Gould of Rootstown, is preceded in death by his daughter, Tracy. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Madelyn; daughter Cathie Null; granddaughter Sarah Null; sister and brother-in-law Susan (Adam) Wirtenberger; brother and sister-in-law David (Linda) Gould; many nieces and nephews; very dear friend, Dave Skinner; the entire Skinner family; hundreds of friends; and constant companion Rusty.
Bob spent his 36 year work career with the Post Office in Akron, OH, having retired in 1997. He was an avid fisherman, avid bowler, trivia champion, Civil War expert, loyal friend to all, and the best husband anyone could ask for. We will miss him so much.
Per his wishes, there will be no services, and no flowers, please. If you would like, kindly make a donation to Hospice of Western Reserve, who were so wonderful to our family.
