Robert "Bob" Hawkins, 71, passed away suddenly on November 6, 2017. He was born January 19, 1946 in Akron. Bob proudly served during the Vietnam War as a US Marine, earning the Purple Heart. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Bob is survived by his wife of 35 years, Lori; children, Vickie Ronk, Daniel Hawkins; granddaughter, Lily Ronk; and his canine companion, Hershey. A graveside service will be held at 2:30pm on Friday, November 10, 2017 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in his memory to the VA.
