Robert Charles "Bob" Hoskin, Jr., 88, of Mogadore, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021. He was born to parents Robert Charles Sr. and Anna Dell Hoskin on March 23, 1932 in Akron.
Preceding him in death is his sister, Joann (Joe) Pierson; and nephew, Jay Goodson.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Mary of 67 years, married January 9th, 1954; children, Robert III, Rodney (Tammy), John (Lela), Mary (Gene) Fulst, and Theresa (Jeff) Flory; grandchildren, Robert, Michael (Megan), Charles (Jennifer), Lauren, Megan (Jacob), Kristen, Angela, Derick (Annabel), John (Chas), Crystal (Ron), Allyn (Heather), and Elbert (Katlyn); great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Christopher, Logan, Tanner, Charlie, Gracie, Amorah, Jeremy, Alexander, Allen, Clarice, Delilah, Aiden, Layla, Andrea, Malachi, Jemma, and Zaylen; special nephew, Rick (Sarah) Goodson; great nieces, Heather (Mike) and their children Emma and Trey, and Joanna and her children, Doug, Bryce, and Hailey, and Hailey's children, Alleigh, Brylan, and Caydon; dear friends, Bill (Patty) Saal, and Fred Saal.
Bob was a proud U.S. Korean War Veteran and served in the Air Force. He worked at General Tire for 26 years before retiring. After retiring from General Tire, he then worked for B&R Trucking, otherwise known as Boss and Rod. Most recently he worked for his son at Ohio Military Surplus. Bob also served on the Suffield Fire Department. He and Mary would often go on drives together, and enjoyed going to the casino and playing KENO. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and watching his family grow. He will be dearly missed.
A private celebration of Bob's life will be held at a later date by his family. He will be laid to rest at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
