Robert Krukow

Robert "Bob" Krukow, 59, passed away August 28, 2016 following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Bob was born in Illinois and ended up settling with his family in Akron, OH. He lived for deer and turkey season, chasing walleye on Lake Erie, and was a die-hard Cleveland sports fan. Bob was the "go-to" member of the family, helping those in need with an honest answer. He was admired for his hard work, determination, and success in his career. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.

Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Rosalie; grandparents, Ann and Emory Mattice, and Anna and Carl Krukow; and brother, Ronnie. He is survived by his devoted wife of 34 years, Debbie; son, Bobby (Melissa); grandchildren, Camryn and Caylee; father, Carl (Phyllis) Krukow; sister, Sandy (Rick) Sells; nieces, Stefanie and Stacie Swan; mother-in-law, JoAnn Bower; brother-in-law, Bill Bower; sister-in-law, Sheri (Russ) Fern; and many other family and friends.

A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2016 from 5-7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
