Robert L. "Bob" May, II, age 60, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at his home. He was born on July 18, 1953 in Akron, OH to the late Robert L. and Joyce A. May. Bob was a lifelong Indians fan. He loved the beach, Ohio State football, coaching baseball, and always made everyone laugh. His kind soul and irreverent sense of humor will be sadly missed.
Bob is survived by his wife of 37 years, Joan M. (Albanese) May, children, Michelle A. (David) Coup and Brian R. May, brothers, Gregory A. (Mary Anne) May and Michael J. (Christina) May, sister, Julie A. (Sean) Irvin, granddaughter, Camryn K. Coup, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Friends may call 2-5 pm on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 pm, immediately following visitation, with Fr. Mike Williamson officiating.
