Robert L. Settle
Robert L. Settle, 87, passed away March 9, 2010. He graduated from East High School in 1942. Robert was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy, and retired from Goodyear after 40 years of service. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Maria; children, Addis Settle, and Anna Marie Hall; grandchildren, Christopher, Tanna, Matthew, and Joshua; great-grandchildren, Kendall, Aiden, and Ciara; and many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held at Friday, March 12, from 5 to 8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. A graveside service will be held Friday, March 19, at 11 am at Northlawn Memorial Gardens with Mogadore VFW # 8487 providing military honors.
