Robert L. Webb, 80, passed away on August 3, 2009. Robert was born on June 30, 1929 in Huntington, WV. He retired from Roadway Express after 40 years of service. Robert was a veteran of the US Army. Preceded in death by his parents James and Ara Ellis; and son Robert L. Webb, III. Survivors include his daughters Denise Tucker and Barbie (Jason) Malick; sister Patricia Whitlock; brother Richard Ellis; grandchildren John Wilson, Leanne (Ben) Shepherd, Courtney, Kiera, Kennedy, and Griffin Malick; great-grandchildren Abbigail, Kenna, and Cooper; and all of his beloved pets. Calling hours will be Wednesday, 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. with a funeral service at 8 p.m.
Interment will be Thursday, 1 p.m. at Suncrest Cemetery in Point Pleasant, WV. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Akron, 4904 Quick Rd. Peninsula, OH 44264.
