Robert A. Laughlin, "Bob", age 65, of Akron, Ohio, died at Akron City Hospital on September 21, 2020.
He was born on February 15, 1955 in Akron, the son of the late Raymond Lee and Carol June (nee Costill) Laughlin.
Bob worked at Spider Staging for many years in Cleveland. He enjoyed his motorcycle, fishing, the outdoors and sight seeing, however, his greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his three children, Robert (Rachel) Laughlin, Thomas "Tommy" Laughlin and Carrie Laughlin; his eight grandchildren, Kyla, Aiden, Kayleena, Liam, Lijah, Kaide, Kenzie and Braidon.
His siblings also survive, Dawnie Farrington, Cathe Doolittle and Edward "Eddie" Laughlin.
Other than his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Robin (nee Cunningham) Laughlin on February 10, 2019, they were united in marriage 38 years prior.
Family and friends may visit from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron.
