Robert Layne, Jr.

Robert Layne Jr., 70 of Massillon passed away February 19th, 2023 peacefully at home. Bob loved family and most of all his nieces and nephews. Bob always had one of his special treasures picked out to bring with him when he visited. Bob loved reminiscing and was quite the historian for the family. Money meant nothing to him. His true joy came from giving and seeing others happy. Bob loved his pinochle, StarTrek, fishing, Cleveland Indians, his Bible studies and the Lord. Bob owned and operated Videos Galore and other Video enterprises throughout his life, worked at IBH and was last employed at Goodwill Industries. Special blessings to Dorrance, Daniel and Joe for ministering to Bob as a new Christian. They truly do the work of the lord and will never be forgotten. Bob leaves behind nieces and nephews - Justin Layne, Scott Layne Sr., Samantha Newman, Casey McCracken (Newman), Sean Newman. Siblings - Mike Layne, Judy Layne Newman. Cousins - Ron Hoffert, Barb Jackson of Marietta, OH. No arrangements at this time. Celebration of life to be announced at a later date.
