Robert M. Goldsmith

Robert M. "Rob" Goldsmith, age 42, passed away at his home on Wednesday, October 2, 2013. He was born on April 10, 1971 in Akron, Ohio to Alfred R. Goldsmith and Diane L. Will. Rob was a loving father, avid fisherman and loved the outdoors.

Rob is survived by his wife of 19 years, Missy Goldsmith (nee Johnson) of Springfield Twp, mother Diane L. (George) Will of Cochranton, PA, father Alfred R. (Mary) Goldsmith of Springfield Twp, children Austin and Madison Goldsmith, brother Jerry A. Goldsmith of Akron, mother and father-in-law Bill and Karen Johnson of Green, brother-in-law Scott (Karen) Johnson, niece Dana Johnson and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Walter and Pauline Dobroski, aunt Sandy Gentile and brother-in-law Dana W. Johnson.

Friends may call 5-8 PM on Monday, October 7, 2013 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
