Robert "Bob" Clayton Mock Jr. on Wednesday, November 2nd, 2022, went home to be with the Lord at the age of seventy-five. He was born September 20th, 1947, in Akron, Ohio. He is a veteran who served in the United States Army. During his service, he was stationed in
Frankfort, Germany, where he met Brigitte Mock, his wife of twenty-four years. He was a dedicated member of the American Legion Garfield Memorial Post 566. He worked as a sales clerk at Famous Supply in Akron, for fifty years retiring in June of 2020. He
frequently enjoyed fishing and boating with his family, detailing cars, painting figurines to decorate his lawn, and drinking Coca-Cola. He was a tireless worker, a loyal friend, a thoughtful neighbor, and a loving father.
He is preceded in death by his parents Robert Mock Sr. and Dorothy Haney, his brother Jeff Mock, and his wife Brigitte Mock.
He is survived by his companion Shirley Watkins, his sisters Wendi Barker (Harold), Joyce Mock, sister-in-law Lindy Evans (Danny), and his brother Rodney Mock. He is also survived by five children: Christina Frashuer (Todd), Steven Mock, Angela Hailey (Gabriel), Brian Monk, and Lisa Stewart (Jesse). He has eleven beautiful grandchildren, Ashley, Robbie, Katie, Ashley, Larissa, Genna, Havynn, Lacie, Alexandria, Vivian, and Gabriella, as well as four great grandchildren. He is also survived by a very special
nephew Shawn Sovocool (Jennifer) , Michelle Griffiths who was like a daughter, and many nieces , nephews and friends.
There will be a military service held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on Thursday November 10th , 2022 at 11:00 am.
