Robert N. Montgomery
Robert N. Montgomery, 54, of Barberton, passed away January 20, 2007. Robert served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam from 1970-1971 and later served in the Ohio National Guard as a Sergeant. He was a member of the VFW. Robert worked as a chef at Gus' Chalet and volunteered at his brother's siding business. He was preceded in death by his father, John D. Montgomery and brother, John D. Montgomery, Jr. He is survived by his mother, Gladys Montgomery; daughter, Megan; siblings, Mary Duncan, Linda (Dennis) Shankle, Clayton (Kathy) Montgomery, Wanda Redovian, Lewis Montgomery, Larry (Jill) Montgomery, Joan (Rufus) Mitchell, and Jean McClung; and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Funeral services and burial will take place in Clifton Forge, Virginia.
