Robert Dennis Owens

Robert Dennis Owens of Mogadore, passed away on August 20, 2017. He was a guitar player his entire life, a local musician in several bands, and a studio musician in Criteria Studio in Miami, FL. Robert also worked at the Village of Mogadore for several years. He leaves to cherish his memory, loving wife of 38 years, Beverly; son, Jeffrey; brother, Richard (Cathy); sister in-law, Barbara (Darrell) Rice; best friend, John the bass player; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday August 23, 2017 from 5-7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305. Memorial service to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity.
