Robert Edward Priest

Robert Edward Priest, 62, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on April 5, 2020. He was born in Ravenna on April 23, 1957 and attended Southeast High School. In 1975, Bob met Mary Jo Mathis at the Dairy Queen and they quickly realized they were meant for each other. They married in 1977 and were best friends and the love of each other's lives for 43 years. Bob was a driver for Ohio Ceramic Supply and retired from RF Cook Manufacturing. He loved old cars, home improvement projects, and his cats, Bandit, Smoky, and Blackey. Above all, he loved God and his family.
Bob was preceded in death by his father, Edward F. Priest and sister, Beth Anne Priest. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 43 years, Mary Jo (nee Mathis) of Ravenna; mother, Marylou Priest of Ravenna; sister, Eva (Ron) Simms of Charlestown; many other relatives and friends. Bob's family wishes to thank Dr. Raux and the Heart Clinic for all their care.
