Robert E. Richmond
Robert E. Richmond, 46, passed away in his home October 13, 2005. He was born and raised in Akron, Ohio and was preceded in death by his father, Gene Richmond. He was a member of the First Apostolic Church in Tallmadge. He was employed by Cuyahoga Community College as a network technician. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Bob was passionate about blues music and fishing. He was a "master gardener", a brilliant artist, and a huge Green Bay Packers fan, but his favorite past time above all else was spending time with his precious daughters, "Chickie" and "Habie Baby". Bob touched a lot of lives and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his devoted wife of 21 years, Sandy; his daughters, Danielle (age 9) and Haley (age 5) at home; mother, Margaret Richmond; sister, Sue (Larry) Cordner; brother, David Richmond; the Howard Gowens family; in-laws, Joy and Ron LaPinskas; brothers and sisters-in-law, Glen (JoAnna), Nancy (Tim), Kathy (Steve), and Karen (Mike); a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, family and friends. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 1-6 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Funeral services will be Monday at 11:30 a.m. at First Apostolic Church in Tallmadge, 199 South Ave., with Pastor Kenneth Bulgrin officiating. Visitation from 10:30 a.m. until time of service.
