Robert P. Simone

Robert P. "Bob" Simone, 65, passed away July 6, 2019 with his family by his side. Born in Akron to Carl and Irene (Buck) Simone, he was a lifelong area resident and worked for the USPS as a Letter Carrier the past 34 years. Bob was a Browns fan and he enjoyed golf, bowling, gardening, drawing, playing monopoly, video games and card games. He was a homebody who loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Dan Simone. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 30 years, Pam; son, Branden; his dog, Baby Girl; and many coworkers and friends who loved him.

Family and friends are invited to visit Thursday, July 11, 2019 between the hours of 5 and 7 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44305. The funeral service will take place Friday, July 12th at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
