Robert William Stuber

Robert William Stuber, "Bob", passed away, with his family by his side, on November 19, 2021, a life-long Wildcat fan; devoted father, grandfather, coach and friend, he will be dearly missed by so many.
He was born on March 22, 1954 in Akron, the son of the late Joseph Sylvester and Harriet Blanche (nee Knowlton) Stuber.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, the former, Janet Lee Lakins, whom he married on October 23, 1976; his children, Lisa (Eric Scott) Stuber and Thomas "Tom" Stuber; his grandchildren, CJ Greiner (Josie Miller) and Koryn Greiner; and his brother, Jerry (Bobbie) Stuber and their family.
Other than his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Stuber.
Our family would also like to thank all of the nurses and staff of 5west at Akron Summa Hospital for their excellent care throughout the years.
The legacy of his community service, love of family, love of coaching, and his absolute pride in being a Mogadore Wildcat will live on in our hearts and memories forever.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, where family and friends may visit from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at Noon.
