Robert Ulrich died January 30, 2005 after a long illness. Robert was born and lived his life in Akron, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph & Rose (Frank) Ulrich. Robert was a gentle soul whose wonderful smile would bring a smile to all he would encounter. He embraced life. Robert loved Maryann, his longtime companion and soul mate. He is survived by his brother, Joseph; sister, Donna; and many nieces and nephews. Robert is also survived by a large extended family: the staff at CYO where he loved to go; Patricia at CSBMRDD; many people at Ardmore Inc.; and those at Sunrise Assisted Living where Robert lived for the past 3 years. Robert was loved by many and will be greatly missed. He touched the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know him. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. with Rev. Scott Campbell officiating. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. Friday until the service begins.
