Robert W. Reed, 88, of Akron, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 4, 2013 at Akron City Hospital. He was born in Akron on December 15, 1924 to the late John and Ida Reed. He was a retired carpenter and a member of Local #639. Bob was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline, of 51 years. Bob is survived by his sons, Bernard (Renee) of Mogadore, Robert (Norma) of Clinton, Dennis (Lisa) of Ellet, and Greg (Lesha) of Bolivar; 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He will be loved and missed by many family members, friends and his buddies at Jonko's.
At the request of Bob, there will be no calling hours.
