Robert W. White "Uncle Bob" age 44 of Akron. Our beloved father went home to be with the lord on Friday October 12, 2001 with his family by his side. Bob lived most of his life in Akron but enjoyed his ranch in Texas. Known as the "life of the party" with a spirit that refused to age, Bob will always be rememberd as the one who came to play with the kids. He did anything for everyone, and came to the rescue of many. He is preceeded in death by his parents Robert and Nancy White and Uncle Jack Foughty. He is survived by his children; Robert White, Stephanie "Sis" (Gary) Delp and Monica Carpenter, grandchildren; Angelique, Bryar and Zane, brother; of Debby Shumaker, Bryan (Sandra) White, Howie (Barb) White, Roberta (Mike) O'Rock, Doug, Pat, Duke and David. Uncle; of Christian, Kasey, Bryan "Bud", Jake, Amanda "Pete", Justin, Missy, Robby, James, Sunshine and Jason, Nephew; of Dorothy Foughty, cousin and special friends; of Randy and Lynn, Jack, Craig, David and many other family and friends. Special thanks to Summa 6th floor staff and VNS Hospice. Funeral Services will be held at the Newcomer-Farley funeral home 131 N. Canton Rd. Tuesday Oct. 16th 2001 at 10:30 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. Charles Billington. Where friends may call Monday Oct. 15th from 5 - 8:30 p.m. Interment will be at Greentown Cemetery.
