Robert Scott Woody

Robert Scott Woody, "Scott", age 50 of Ravenna, Ohio, died on May 5, 2021 at his home.

He was born on May 12, 1970 in Akron, the son of Robert K. and Belinda A. (nee Henry) Woody of Ravenna.

Scott was a graduate of Southeast High School and attended Akron University. He was an avid outdoorsman, he loved to hunt and fish and he was a professional guide in Texas. He was a member of the Body Builders Gym in Akron for the last 20 years.

In addition to his parents, Scott is survived by his grandmother, Lois (nee Skamer) Woody; his aunts and uncles, Scott Henry, Pamela Henry, Sandra (Norm) Nitzsche and Janet Vittatoe and many cousins and friends.

Those that preceded Scott in death were his grandparents, John C. Woody and Walter Reid and Annabelle (nee Bennett) Henry.

Memorial services will take place on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron.

Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 - 11:00 AM.
