Roberta C. Brunton

Roberta C. Brunton, 77, passed away on November 12, 2023. She was born on November 7, 1946 the daughter of the late Frank and Betty Konkle. She was a woman of great faith and was a member of the First Freedom Baptist Church. In her younger years she was a Girl Scout leader and helped with 4-H club. She always looked forward to having cookouts and bonfires with the neighborhood kids and family. Roberta was well known for her "famous" sausage gravy and biscuit breakfast. She had a loving and caring heart.

She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved son Christopher G. Brunton; sisters Becky Hysell and Kitty Ellis; and her beloved four legged companion "Bo".
Roberta is survived by her husband of 56 years, Gerald L. Brunton; daughter Laura (John) Holman of Hartville; son Andrew Brunton of Ravenna; grandchildren Jordan (Sabrina) Brunton, Amber Brunton, Brittany Brunton, Christian Brunton Curry, and Cortney Brunton Currey; great-grandchildren Cordelia and William; siblings Linda Gross, James (Charity) Konkle, and Norma (Bill) Hoskins; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, November 18th, from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron) where services will be held at 1:00pm with Pastor Stephen Neumeyer officiating.
