Roberta Martin passed away on December 28, 2015. She was born on October 21, 1939 in Akron, OH to Ronald and Alberta Roy. Roberta's passion was the love of Christ, reading her Bible, and Christian music. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, quilting, crocheting, watching movies, and telling stories.
She is survived by her husband Fred Martin of 52 years. Also survived by her six children: Tim Nelson, Christine Gorman, Carolyn Sue (Tom) Witteman, Ruby Carol Switzky, Steve Martin, Michael (Karen) Martin, Kelly Woznicki. Also survived by Penny (Keith) Nye, Janmichael Gorman, Christal (George) Shokri, Adam (Adrienne) Witteman, Amanda Ketchum, Chelsea Ketchum, Bethany Woznicki, Kayla Martin, Eve Switzky, and Lucas Woznicki. Also survived by nine great-grandchildren. Also survived by John (Brenda) Roy, Jeannette (Doug) Berger, Toni (Joe) Bruno, Debbie Zivkovich, Ronald Roy. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded by Sheila Marvin.
Memorial service will be held on January 9, 2016 from 6:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. at 1600 Brittain Rd. Community Center, Akron, OH, 44310.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Reverend William Warner, 1043 Broadway St. E, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.
