Robin Leigh Barton

Robin Leigh Barton, 63, of Garrettsville, passed away on July 15, 2024. She was born in Chardon, Ohio on August 18, 1960 to the late Robert Ritchie and Traci Rac. Robin graduated from James A. Garfield High School in Garrettsville in 1978 before attending Hiram College. She spent most of her life raising her family and enjoying her grandchildren. For many years, she worked at James A. Garfield High School and enjoyed reading and writing fiction in her spare time. Robin loved spending time at the beach with family and friends. Those who knew her will always remember what a treasure she was. She had such a kind heart and will be truly missed by everyone.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby and sister, Kelly.

She is survived by her sons, Chris Barton and Gregg (Courtney) Barton; brother, Russell; sister, Edwina; and grandchildren, Hendrix and Roux. Robin also leaves many good friends including special friends, Lori Houle, Theresa Reed, Patty Campbell, and Jolene Rose.
