Robin D. Dunivan, 63, of Akron, passed away on November 25, 2018.
Robin served in the Army for seven years where he completed his GED. He was a hardworking man who was very dedicated to his work and to his family. He worked for Lamb electric, Seal Master in Kent, and multiple security positions over the years. He was employed as a TSA Agent at Akron Canton Airport since 2001.
Robin had a great sense of humor and he was always joking with his family. He always had a Double Bubble treat to share with grandchildren. He loved going for a drive in the car, watching TV, and playing Gummy Drop on his phone, but above all, he absolutely cherished spending time with his family. He was the best husband, father, son, and grandfather and will always be seen as our hero.
Left to cherish Robin's memory are his wife of 38 years, Darlene Dunivan; parents, Russell and Patricia Dunivan; children, Rodney (Wendy) Dunivan, Crystal (Robert) Angle, Patricia (Thomas) Bryant, and Robyn (Stephanie) Dunivan-Gonzalez; grandchildren, Hayle Bryant, Akemi Angle, Louis Bryant, Karrick Angle, James Bryant, and Amyah Gonzalez; brother, Rick (Lisa) Dunivan; sisters, Jewel Kay (Tom) Marquis, Jill (John) Pangborn, and Kelly Scott; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place on Saturday December 1, 2018 at Newcomer 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, from 3pm until 5pm. A funeral service will take place at 5pm.
