Rodger Kelly Rawling, age 71 of Wadsworth passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2021. He was born in Akron on December 6, 1949 to the late Edwin and Doris {Ensley} Rawling.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Danny.
Rodger's memory will live on in his wife of 48 years, Cheryl; daughter Ashley; brothers Edwin, Jr. and Keith; sister-in-law Tina Hill; close friend Roger Golden.
Rodger could regularly be found outdoors, meticulously caring for his yard, golfing, skiing, or hiking. He also had many talents as a handyman, which led to his career in the construction industry, and his passion for renovating homes.
Per Rodger's wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no formal service. A celebration barbecue in Rodger's honor will be held at a later (warmer) date. To leave a message for Rodger's family, please scroll below.
