Rodney Paul Nutter, 67, of Akron, passed away on May 9, 2012. He was born in Newark, West Virginia on December 18, 1944 to the late Forrest and Olive Nutter.
He served in the U.S. Army and retired from Midwest Gear as a truck driver. He loved coaching baseball and making his famous "Nutter Burgers" for family and friends.
Rod was preceded in death by his wife, Verine Lu Nutter; and brother-in-law, Richard Miller. He will be deeply missed by his children, Angela (Tim) Honeck, Jeffrey (Kristen) Nutter, Stephen Nutter, and Ryan Nutter; sister, Betty June Miller; brother, Jack (Helen) Nutter; grandchildren, Sadie and Payton Honeck, Richard, Madison, and Hunter Nutter. He also leaves his girlfriend, Kathie Luskin.
