Roger A. Watson, 66, of Akron, passed away on July 26, 2012, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Ravenna on May 25, 1946 to the late Rolland and Gladys Watson. He was deeply loved by all who knew him.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Gloria Szakal; and brother, Gerald Watson. He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Watson; son, Roger (Michelle) Watson; stepchildren, Tammy, Ronnie, Jimmy, and Michael; siblings Larry (Carol) Watson, Eva (Terry) Shaw, and Harold (Patrice) Watson; grandchildren, Brady, Nikki, Ashley, Dallas, Presley, Jackson, and Walker; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday August 2 from 10-12 followed by a 12 noon funeral service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
