Roger D. Booth Ii

Roger D. Booth II, 44, of Akron, passed away at home surrounded by loved ones on October 27, 2023. Roger was born on August 9, 1979 in Akron to Roger and Linda Booth Sr. He graduated from Ellet High School in 1997 and spent several years as a DJ for various parties and events. He met Jill Booth through mutual friends and they were married on September 13, 2022. Above all, Roger loved his family and the Lord. He is truly missed but we will see him again in Heaven.
Roger was preceded in death by his father, Roger Booth Sr.; four grandparents; niece, Dawn; and nephew, Kyle.
He is survived by his wife, Jill; mother, Linda; sisters, Maria (Gerald) Altizer, Sheila Maddox, and Karen Taylor (Shaun); many nieces and nephews and other family members who loved him very much.
Roger also considered his beloved dogs, Frankie and Ginger to be just like family.
Roger's life will be celebrated on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Albrecht Avenue Church of God, 3357 Albrecht Ave, Akron, Ohio 44312. Rev. Marcia Durkee and Rev. Robert Drummond will officiate.
