Roger Donald Williams, 54, of Akron, passed away September 18, 2011. Roger was born in Akron on January 26, 1957. His interests included comedy and photography and his two cats, Chit and Keeper. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Mary Lee Williams and daughter, Beverly Williams. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Jeanne Williams; children, Erica, Roger J., and Julie Williams; siblings, Art (Brenda) Williams, Vikki George, Robert (Tina) Williams, and Linda Gleason; and many in-laws and friends. Visitation will be Thursday September 22 from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Haven of Rest.
