Roger "Wayne" Mason Jr.

Wayne Mason, born in Barberton, Ohio on January 19th, 1980, to Lenora Mason and Roger Mason Sr., was called home on February 12th, 2025, while in the home he shared with his loving girlfriend of 2 years, April Magrell.

He is survived by his sister, Lora Mason (Joe Palmer); his five children, Matthew, Mark (McKayla), Marissa, Isabella and Alexander Mason; his three beautiful grandchildren, whom he loved to bits and pieces, Korah, Kinsley and Kash.

Wayne was very passionate about playing pool, the Steelers football team, music and movies. Wayne was a great friend, a hard worker and a loving father. He was a help to anyone who needed it. He always went out of his way to make sure everyone was taken care of.

We will be meeting in his honor, to be there for each other as he was there for all of us. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on February 23rd, 2025 at 2:30pm at Zodiac Bar (1955 Triplett Blvd, Akron, OH 44312) for all of his friends and family. We will be celebrating in potluck fashion.
