Roger Kent Miller

Roger Kent Miller, 86, passed away peacefully at home on November 11, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Clay County, West Virginia, he resided in the Akron, Ohio area all of his adult life. Kent was a longtime member of the Masons as well as AA. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, hiking with his grandchildren, playing jokes on his family and friends, traveling to his 2nd home in Sun City, AZ and spending time with his family.

Kent was preceded in death by his daughters, Carol Ann, Charlotte Evans; grandchildren, Katherine Ross, Austin Cole; parents, Daniel and Donnie (Holcomb) Miller; 6 brothers; 1 sister. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 66 years, Connie; children, Roger Miller, Jr., Karen Cole, Darlene Miller, Pam (Brian) Ross; grandchildren, Nita, Ronnie, Cherl, Chrissy, Josh, Danielle, Rachel, Nick, Joey, Zack, Abby, Tanner; many great grandchildren; brother, Zane Miller; several other family members and friends.

Family and friends are invited to visit Monday, November 20, 2023 from 4 to 5 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron, Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The funeral service will follow at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
