Roger Lee Mitchell, age 68 of Tallmage, Ohio, passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by his family on November 19, 2021.
Roger was born on February 4, 1953 in Akron, Ohio to Bernard and Anna (Wilt) Mitchell. He graduated from Ellet High School in 1972. Roger then joined the Air Force and served for 5 years. After the Air Force, Roger worked for the United States Postal Office for 40 years. He loved riding his Harley, and enjoyed going to Sturgis, South Dakota.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife of 10 years, Kim, and sister, Barbara Kay.
Roger will be deeply missed by his children, Matthew Mitchell, Joy Brubach, step-children, Nicholas and Kori Tomic, sister, Martha Dunphy, niece, Colleen Page, grandchildren, Ariana Mitchell, Dade and Liam Brubach, Mitchell, Piper, Ryken, and Phoenix, and great-grandchildren, Serenity and Mylah.
The family would like to thank his best friend since the Air Force, Edward Mizia, who's visits, calls, and memories had him laughing until his last day.
A graveside service will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on December 6, 2021 at 2:30 p.m.
