Roger M. Yackee

Roger M. Yackee, 42, passed away on October 5, 2022 He was born on August 16, 1980 the son of Michael R. Kestranek and Judy Konya.
Roger graduated from Padua Franciscan High School of Parma, Ohio. He was an Independent Moving Contractor always helping families with his dedicated caring service. Roger greatly enjoyed music playing his violin, guitar, listening and helping others set up for concerts. He and his Grandmother, Arline Hanna, loved sharing stories on their many hikes on the Allegany National Forest trails. He was known for growing plants. He will always be remembered for his free spirit, caring heart, lending a helpful hand to others, and his great sense of humor.
He was preceded in death by his father Michael R. Kestranek; grandfather Robert L. Hanna; Aunt Jeannie Oscher; and Uncle Roger A. Yackee.
Roger is survived by his loving mother who was his biggest supporter and best friend, Judy (Rob) Konya; grandmother Arline Hanna; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00PM to 6:00PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron) where Memorial Services will be held at 6:00PM with Pastor Amy Downard officiating.
