Ronald L. Dupratt

Ronald "Ronnie" L. DuPratt, born April 15, 1943, passed away peacefully at Summa Hospital on March 28, 2023 after a lengthy illness.
Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Micheallynne. He is also survived by his children Lisa Burkhart, Christopher DuPratt and Melissa DuPratt. Ronnie was blessed with four grandchildren, Christian Burkhart, Brenna (Alec) Rufener, Chloe (Alec) Derrig and Hayden DuPratt. He will be greatly missed by the couple's dog and his pal, Rosie.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his Father and Mother, Norman E. and Dorothy DuPratt, as well as his sister Judy Franks.
Ronnie was a 1961 graduate of Ellet High School. He went on to work several jobs before finally settling in at Goodyear Tire & Rubber, where he would retire after 45 years of service. Ronnie was an avid bowler, and enjoyed many other sports, as well. Anyone who knew Ronnie knew of his love (hate) relationship with his Cleveland teams, especially the Browns. Watching the games will not be the same, but will certainly be quieter!
The family would like to thank Summa Palliative Care for their kindness, care and compassion while they had Ronnie in their care.
Cremation has taken place, and the family will be holding a private service in the weeks to come. Memorials in Ronnie's memory may be made to the animal shelter of your choice. To leave a message for Ronnie's family, please scroll below.
