Ronald E. Davis, 52, of Akron, passed away February 12, 2007 at his residence. He was born February 21, 1954 in Akron, Ohio to the late Even & Glenda (Sweeden) Davis. Ron graduated from the University of Akron in 1977; had been a member of the Phi Sigma Kappa Fraternity; was an avid Browns fan and an original member of the Browns Kennel Club. He is survived by his sister, Darlene M. Davis of Akron. A memorial service will be conducted 2:00 p.m., Friday at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. Friday until the service begins.
