Ronald A. Hickman (Papa Ron)
Ronald A. Hickman, 59, went home to be with the Lord on June 8, 2006. Ron was born in 1946 to Naoma and Charles Hickman. He was an avid outdoorsman and wonderful musician, playing gospel and blues. He was a member of Akron Baptist Temple. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Hickman and stepfather, Fred McQuain. He is survived by his mother, Naoma McQuain of Hartville, OH; his loving wife, Vikki of their residence; children, Lisa (Phil) Taylor, Kristen (Matthew) Caston, Shawn Bonner (Jason), Shane Siers, Misty (Buck) Mull, Nakia Siers (J.T.) all of Ohio; grandchildren, Meagan, Chase, Adam, Austin, Krista, B.J., Josh, Jake, Zack, Evan, Savannah, Hunter, and Austyn; brother, Dave (Diane) Hickman of Simpsonville, SC; best friends and cohorts, Kenny Fultz and Denny Livingston; numerous other family and friends. Family and friends may call on Monday from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with one hour visitation prior with Brother David Clark officiating. Interment at East Liberty Cemetery.
