Ronald "Ronnie" Jefferson, 61, of Akron, passed away January 26, 2022.
Ronnie was born in Akron, Ohio on September 25, 1960. He loved music, especially jazz and he played the guitar. Ronnie enjoyed playing cards. He loved spending time with his family.
Ronnie is preceded in death by his grandmother, Doshie Jones, mother, Viola Jefferson, sister, Dorothy Ezell, aunts, Earlene Jones, Catherine Rice, uncle, AB Jones, niece, Victoria Wilson, and a host of family members.
He is survived by sister, Kimberly Wilson, brothers, Rocky E. Wilson, Robert T. Wilson, and Willie Charles (Sandra) Jefferson, close friend, Heidi, aunt, Mae Lee Cephus, special cousins raised as siblings, Annette Sledge, Alexander Cox, April Sherman, Rickey Smith, and Timothy Smith, and multiple nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family and friends may call on Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 10-11 a.m., a Home Going Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron. The service will be live streamed at 11:00 a.m. by clicking the link below.
